And the winner is.....

Last week was the end of a months worth of singing, dancing, acting, costume making, scenery painting and long practising! Yes it was Roadshow time. Matthias and I were asked to write and direct the script for Thetford ward this year. At the beginning of February we were given the theme of 'IF ONLY' and had to write a 15/20 minute script full of fun, music and singing. It took a day to actually write the script and then a few evenings to sort out the songs and change the words to fit the script. Oh my goodness, although it took a while and there was a lot of work done by all; it was SO much fun. I love Roadshows! Call my crazy but I was so excited to be able to work with the youth more and we had such a laugh doing it. When you work with the youth you know that you will definitely have a spiritual experience, even if it is something fun you're doing. I always learn so much from them.

Anyways, we took our great show to the Stake and had a great time performing it to everyone. The awards were given out at the end and Thetford won best costumes and make up, best musical score and best direction! We were so thrilled to win those awards. However, we never expected what was coming next....the overall winner of the Norwich Stake Roadshows was announced and it was.....THETFORD!!! Wow, it was a real shock!!! Just to see all the youth's faces was just like winning to me anyway, let a lone actually, really winning! I was so pleased for our youth. Well Done and thank you for your support! GO THETFORD :)

Easter Fun

We really loved having a week off for Easter Break!  It was very much needed, for all of us.  I love having Noah at home.  He's such a great help and now that he's older, he's a real good buddy for me.  We have really great, grown up conversations, I love it.  We just really enjoyed family time, seeing old friends and eating lots of chocolate.  Isn't that what school breaks are all for?!  Here are a few photos of our fun. It kind of snowed.....twice

So my lovely little (or not so little) cutie pies were really excited to move here for one main reason...SNOW!  They had never seen or can remember seeing snow.  So after hearing that last years snow fall was a crazy amount and the schools were closed, they were super excited for this winter. (A lot more so than mummy, let me tell you!)  If there is one thing I have learned from moving here, although I do like it here, I DO NOT like cold weather!  I just cannot stay warm....but hey that's another story.  A few weeks back we did indeed get snow. This was the second time this year.  It was a very little but it pleased my children all the same!  They had fun in the snow till their fingers froze.  There was enough snow to make a snowman this time so they were happy. Roman turned 5

Roman turned another year older.  This means he will be going to school this year...NOOO...I'm not ready!  Thankfully I still have two more at home with me!  Here are a photos of the day. We started celebrations on Wednesday with his friends from Joy School at his Paw Patrol party!  We played games, everyone decorated a cake, played with the pinata and played with new presents! BIRTHDAY DAY!! Traditionally opening presents in mummy and daddys bed He LOVES golf Obligatory silly glasses And of course breakfast in bed! New 'comfy pants' from Nanna and Granddad! Silly faces!!
