Well, I can’t really say no after he’s gone all the way to Ipswich!!

For all of you movie guru's out there, you will probably know that the title of this post is from the one and only Stardust ~ I just love that film. (If you haven't seen it already, I would highly recommend it!) But anyway, back to the subject in hand. My wonderful Matthias is back, yes, he was only gone for 3 weeks, but let me tell you, it was the longest 3 weeks in my life!!!! Thankfully, we have been able to spend most of last week together. We celebrated his birthday, discovered a few new cities and towns we've never been before and other less fun things like forms for my visa, but all in all its so great to have Matthias home again. If I had my way I'd never let him leave again,....a girl can dream!

So going back to my title for this post, one of the towns we went to see was Ipswich. It only took us 45 minutes to get there, and we had a great time. We found a cute park and the Christchurch Mansion which we could take a look around. It was pretty impressive. To my surprise I found that there was a few of my ancestor's paintings in there too ~ Sir Alfred Munnings. I just had to get a picture of that too.

I want this music room!

Sir Alfred Munnings Painting (a relation of mine!)

This was a torture device that they used on servants that didn't do as they were told! Scary!!

Now his time off work has come to an end, everything is back to normal. I love it and wouldn't change my life for the world! :)

What an amazing trip! I am jealous. It's fun to catch up on what you are doing (and get to know you a little, Elodie). Ryan and I are friends of Matthias from college.
