Crazy sleeper

So I've decided that my son is the craziest sleeper I've know. He is just so funny in his sleep, he sleeps in funny positions and does some great poses ~ today must have been one of the best. I have managed to take photos of most of them and so I shall share them with you:


Ok so this one isn't too crazy as it is cute, but just look at his arms! lol He wasn't even a month old and already he was striking a pose!

Although it may look like he's praying, he is in fact 100% asleep!

So the last two photos were the inspiration for this post. Hence it has two photos. I can't believe Noah fell asleep like this ~ it couldn't have been comfortable at all. Oh well, at least I know that my little boy can sleep anywhere and in any position! :)

I'm so jealous! My new little one, Oliver who is coming up on two months old is not sleeping great yet. And as a consequence I'm obviously not either! But Noah is certainly a handsome little chap. He's a wonderful mix of the both of you. :)

Oh, they are adorable photos Ellie. I love the classic 'bum in the air' pose. I've got a couple of Benjamin like that. The playgym one made me laugh the most though. :)

Easter Fun

We really loved having a week off for Easter Break!  It was very much needed, for all of us.  I love having Noah at home.  He's such a great help and now that he's older, he's a real good buddy for me.  We have really great, grown up conversations, I love it.  We just really enjoyed family time, seeing old friends and eating lots of chocolate.  Isn't that what school breaks are all for?!  Here are a few photos of our fun. It kind of snowed.....twice

So my lovely little (or not so little) cutie pies were really excited to move here for one main reason...SNOW!  They had never seen or can remember seeing snow.  So after hearing that last years snow fall was a crazy amount and the schools were closed, they were super excited for this winter. (A lot more so than mummy, let me tell you!)  If there is one thing I have learned from moving here, although I do like it here, I DO NOT like cold weather!  I just cannot stay warm....but hey that's another story.  A few weeks back we did indeed get snow. This was the second time this year.  It was a very little but it pleased my children all the same!  They had fun in the snow till their fingers froze.  There was enough snow to make a snowman this time so they were happy. Noah's Baptism

It really is great to be 8!  Our handsome Noah has been looking forward to this day for over a year now.  In our church you are able to get baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at the age of 8. We believe that Baptism is an important first step to returning back to our Heavenly Father and to be able to eventually live together forever.  (For my non LDS friends you can read more about baptism and our religion here .)  We have been planning for a few weeks some of the things he wanted and he was super excited because both his grandparents were able to visit for his special day. He was baptized on his birthday by his daddy and the given the gift of the Holy Ghost by daddy too.  We had a small gathering, but enjoyed a yummy ice cream bar afterwards, Noah's request! :) We are so proud of him.  Noah is growing up to be a fine young man, he's caring, loving, intelligent, humble, crazy (the good kind :), there is never a dull mom...
