Winter in Hawaii

Winter in Hawaii can be tough...haha okay I'm kidding.  The weather is literally perfect!  Its funny as when I talk to my mum, I'm always saying how it feels cold in the mornings (in the winter that is!) and then when she asks what the temperature is and I tell her 17C, she just laughs!  And who would blame her.  I guess you can say I've definitely acclimatized and am not used to the cold.  Anyway, as it is so lovely outside most days over the Christmas/New Years break we were able to take the boys to the water park, wet n wild.  Noah and Roman just LOVE being in the water.  It's a good job really, living in Hawaii and all!  Roman is our little daredevil. He will try just about everything, so going to the water park can be a little dangerous, you really have to watch him, even if he has his life vest on!  Anyways, the boys had such a fun day, we actually managed to wear them out, which takes a lot to do!!

We also took the boys bowling on the base.  Roman was so excited he slept the whole time; not that he's old enough to bowl anyway!  So anyone that knows me, knows that I'm not actually that great at bowling.  In fact, I'm bad, and very rarely get in the 90's let alone 100's.  So when the guy at the desk told us that we would have to have the sides up for all of us I was pleased and thought that I'd actually do ok and have no gutter balls.  Boy was I wrong.  Although I didn't get any gutter balls, Noah actually beat me both games!!  Yes, I was beaten by a 4 year old.  I still can't believe it, and I am just stacking up to the fact that on my second game I was hungry and eating in between bowling put me off my game. (Yes, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!)

I never get a serious face! :)

Winner!!

Proof he beat me both games!

I love spending time with my family!! :)
