All I want for the first day of school is my 2 front teeth!

Noah has always amazed us with how quickly he is growing, learning and doing things (apart from walking independently, that took a little longer :) But while we were at our family reunion in Lakewood, Washington, Noah lost his 2 front teeth!  At 5 years and 3 months he is already getting his big teeth in.  Crazy!  They didn't come out together mind you, a day a part.  The day after the first tooth came out, he decided to just pull the other one out as it was getting in the way of him eating his cereal....go figure, he's just like his daddy, doesn't want anything to get in the way of him and eating! ;)  Oh how I love my boys.

 
He also had his first official day at school, which he thoroughly enjoyed!  He was so excited he was up dressed and his bed was made all before 6am!  My crazy kindergartener unfortunately isn't as excited his second week, there haven't been any 6am wake up calls, but he's still having a blast!
 
 
When I have a little more time I will up date you all on our fun filled family reunion and how our little girls nursery is getting on!  Lots of things to do and write about....I WILL get round to it! :)

Easter Fun

We really loved having a week off for Easter Break!  It was very much needed, for all of us.  I love having Noah at home.  He's such a great help and now that he's older, he's a real good buddy for me.  We have really great, grown up conversations, I love it.  We just really enjoyed family time, seeing old friends and eating lots of chocolate.  Isn't that what school breaks are all for?!  Here are a few photos of our fun. It kind of snowed.....twice

So my lovely little (or not so little) cutie pies were really excited to move here for one main reason...SNOW!  They had never seen or can remember seeing snow.  So after hearing that last years snow fall was a crazy amount and the schools were closed, they were super excited for this winter. (A lot more so than mummy, let me tell you!)  If there is one thing I have learned from moving here, although I do like it here, I DO NOT like cold weather!  I just cannot stay warm....but hey that's another story.  A few weeks back we did indeed get snow. This was the second time this year.  It was a very little but it pleased my children all the same!  They had fun in the snow till their fingers froze.  There was enough snow to make a snowman this time so they were happy. Noah's Baptism

It really is great to be 8!  Our handsome Noah has been looking forward to this day for over a year now.  In our church you are able to get baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at the age of 8. We believe that Baptism is an important first step to returning back to our Heavenly Father and to be able to eventually live together forever.  (For my non LDS friends you can read more about baptism and our religion here .)  We have been planning for a few weeks some of the things he wanted and he was super excited because both his grandparents were able to visit for his special day. He was baptized on his birthday by his daddy and the given the gift of the Holy Ghost by daddy too.  We had a small gathering, but enjoyed a yummy ice cream bar afterwards, Noah's request! :) We are so proud of him.  Noah is growing up to be a fine young man, he's caring, loving, intelligent, humble, crazy (the good kind :), there is never a dull mom...
