Just a day after I wrote my D Day post our little beauty made an entrance into the world! Only one day late, not bad little girl, not bad at all! :) To cut a long story short and to spare my more uneasy readers, I went into the hospital just after 10am, they didn't admit me in till 12.30pm, I had to go on a walk to see if I really was progressing, and our little lady was born at 4.58pm on Wednesday 26th November; 8lbs 15oz (my biggest baby yet!) and 21.5 inches (and my longest!). The birth was absolutely great, well, as far as giving birth is great, that is. There were no complications and we are both doing pretty darn good.

Zara's first photo with mummy and daddy. She's only an hour old! |
We are all so in love with our little angel. At first Roman wasn't too worried about her, but the more and more he's around her he just wants to be as helpful and loving as Noah, Cuddles every day is a must with my boys and I don't often see Zara without a wet cheek from the boys kisses! She is one lucky girl to have 2 big brothers who already protect and love her!

Noah's first cuddle! Bless him, he stayed up till almost 10pm just so he could see Zara! |

Roman got his first cuddle the following day. He was just too tired to stay up the night Zara was born. Don't you just love his face! :) |
I just love getting her dressed in the mornings. I have been given so many lovely outfits that she needs to wear all of them before she gets too big. I've been taking photos of them too. Zara is so trendy I feel I need to keep up with her fantastic fashion sense.
Noah said to me the other day, "Mummy, Zara smells.....just.....yummy!" And how true that is. New born babies have the best smell in the world. I think I remember how nice it is but can never fully appreciate it till I hold a new baby again! She is now 11 days old and none of us can imagine our family without her. She truly is a blessing sent from above. We love you Zara!
