Hawaii for one more year.....

...YES PLEASE!!  Yes, that's right my friends, we have been given the opportunity to stay here in paradise for one more year, which mean we won't leave Hawaii till summer 2016.  We are all so excited about this.  We just love our house we live in, Mililani is awesome - its practically central to everything (plus we don't have to worry about tsunami warnings in our town! lol) Noah loves his school and is excited to be able to stay for another year.  We LOVE our ward; Mililani 2nd ward is possibly the BEST ward ever!  I know some people may argue that their ward is better, but really folks I love our ward!!  It's going to be one of the hardest things to say goodbye to these lovely people when we do finally leave.  But hey, that won't be till 2016 now! There are so many things that we have still not done in Hawaii, that includes going to the other islands, that we are grateful for having another 12 full months to do them.  I know that this does mean I won't be able to pull out all my cute coats and boats for another year, but that can certainly wait, because I'm just not ready to give this up yet...

Easter Fun

We really loved having a week off for Easter Break!  It was very much needed, for all of us.  I love having Noah at home.  He's such a great help and now that he's older, he's a real good buddy for me.  We have really great, grown up conversations, I love it.  We just really enjoyed family time, seeing old friends and eating lots of chocolate.  Isn't that what school breaks are all for?!  Here are a few photos of our fun. It kind of snowed.....twice

So my lovely little (or not so little) cutie pies were really excited to move here for one main reason...SNOW!  They had never seen or can remember seeing snow.  So after hearing that last years snow fall was a crazy amount and the schools were closed, they were super excited for this winter. (A lot more so than mummy, let me tell you!)  If there is one thing I have learned from moving here, although I do like it here, I DO NOT like cold weather!  I just cannot stay warm....but hey that's another story.  A few weeks back we did indeed get snow. This was the second time this year.  It was a very little but it pleased my children all the same!  They had fun in the snow till their fingers froze.  There was enough snow to make a snowman this time so they were happy. Noah's Baptism

It really is great to be 8!  Our handsome Noah has been looking forward to this day for over a year now.  In our church you are able to get baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at the age of 8. We believe that Baptism is an important first step to returning back to our Heavenly Father and to be able to eventually live together forever.  (For my non LDS friends you can read more about baptism and our religion here .)  We have been planning for a few weeks some of the things he wanted and he was super excited because both his grandparents were able to visit for his special day. He was baptized on his birthday by his daddy and the given the gift of the Holy Ghost by daddy too.  We had a small gathering, but enjoyed a yummy ice cream bar afterwards, Noah's request! :) We are so proud of him.  Noah is growing up to be a fine young man, he's caring, loving, intelligent, humble, crazy (the good kind :), there is never a dull mom...
