Easter Fun

We really loved having a week off for Easter Break!  It was very much needed, for all of us.  I love having Noah at home.  He's such a great help and now that he's older, he's a real good buddy for me.  We have really great, grown up conversations, I love it.  We just really enjoyed family time, seeing old friends and eating lots of chocolate.  Isn't that what school breaks are all for?!  Here are a few photos of our fun.

Besides all the Easter chocolate and activity fun.  We are so grateful to know the true meaning of Easter and are grateful for the knowledge of Jesus Christ and his sacrifice for us.    There is a lovely article from our church leaders here or the video of Prince of Peace here.  Even though Easter is over, its never too late to find out about Christ. :)

Noah's Baptism

It really is great to be 8!  Our handsome Noah has been looking forward to this day for over a year now.  In our church you are able to get baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at the age of 8. We believe that Baptism is an important first step to returning back to our Heavenly Father and to be able to eventually live together forever.  (For my non LDS friends you can read more about baptism and our religion here .)  We have been planning for a few weeks some of the things he wanted and he was super excited because both his grandparents were able to visit for his special day. He was baptized on his birthday by his daddy and the given the gift of the Holy Ghost by daddy too.  We had a small gathering, but enjoyed a yummy ice cream bar afterwards, Noah's request! :) We are so proud of him.  Noah is growing up to be a fine young man, he's caring, loving, intelligent, humble, crazy (the good kind :), there is never a dull moment with him around,

It kind of snowed.....twice

So my lovely little (or not so little) cutie pies were really excited to move here for one main reason...SNOW!  They had never seen or can remember seeing snow.  So after hearing that last years snow fall was a crazy amount and the schools were closed, they were super excited for this winter. (A lot more so than mummy, let me tell you!)  If there is one thing I have learned from moving here, although I do like it here, I DO NOT like cold weather!  I just cannot stay warm....but hey that's another story.  A few weeks back we did indeed get snow. This was the second time this year.  It was a very little but it pleased my children all the same!  They had fun in the snow till their fingers froze.  There was enough snow to make a snowman this time so they were happy. 2 Months

I know that Mateo will be 3 months in a few days, but I haven't caught up with his 2 months as yet, so I will post that now! At 2 months, he took his first airplane ride from Hawaii to Washington (state).  He is a brilliant flyer.  He slept the whole flight!  I even had to wake him to feed just before we landed. He is loved by all his siblings so much and mummy and daddy too, of course.  I often here Zara saying "I want Teo!" repeatedly till she gets him on her lap.  The she proceeds to sing to him and kiss him continually.  It's so cute!  Although I fear he will always have 2 mothers growing up :)  Noah and Roman love their cuddle times with him too.  Noah is such a great big helper with Mateo.  I know that they are all going to be great friends as they are growing up! Mateo loves to smile at everyone and he has the biggest most beautiful smile!       Mateo loves to eat. At 7 weeks he weighed 13lbs 4oz!  Who knows what he will weigh in
