Good bye San Antonio

In about 3 months time we have to say good bye to all our lovely Texan friends and move.  Yes, its already been 3 years, and it's gone so quickly.  I actually almost feel like a true Texan and am going to miss this place very much.  I have to admit, when first coming here in Texas' 100+ F weather, I thought that I wasn't going to enjoy my experience here.  Boy was I wrong!  I've made some lovely friends, enjoyed every minute of the sun and the Texan life style....and it's true, everything is bigger in Texas!

So I think we will have to make the most of our last 3 months here, like eat steaks, go to rodeos and use the word "ya'll" a lot more.  However sad I am to leave this great State, I think that I am equally or should I be truthful and say even more so excited for our new adventures at our new destination.  So where will the McCormick family be living for the next 3 years you may ask, well, it came as a real shock to us yesterday, as we didn't really think that we would get it, but we will be moving to Hawaii in June!!  Yes, you read it correctly Hawaii.  I think of it as paradise or as close as it would probably look anyway and am super excited to have the opportunity to live there. 


On other news with my pregnancy, yes I'm still here and pregnant, but its getting very close!  I am 37 weeks and 5 days today.  I can't wait much longer to meet our little boy, and I feel truly blessed to be able to bring another little boy into the world.  I love being Noah's mummy and can't wait to have another child.  Here's to hoping this little boy will be on time (or dare I say it, early?!)!  We will definitely keep you all posted....

I had looked on your blog earlier today to see if there were any updates and now there is! So excited for you to be moving to Hawaii. Whereabouts will you be? I am so envious, I have always wanted to go there! Good luck with the baby, I'm looking forward to that news too! :)

We'll be living on the Oahu island(we're going to joint base pearl harbor/hickam). So there is now a great excuse for you to come visit ~ Especially if Tor's still there too? :) We'll definitely keep ya'll updated on the baby news too.

Easter Fun

We really loved having a week off for Easter Break!  It was very much needed, for all of us.  I love having Noah at home.  He's such a great help and now that he's older, he's a real good buddy for me.  We have really great, grown up conversations, I love it.  We just really enjoyed family time, seeing old friends and eating lots of chocolate.  Isn't that what school breaks are all for?!  Here are a few photos of our fun. It kind of snowed.....twice

So my lovely little (or not so little) cutie pies were really excited to move here for one main reason...SNOW!  They had never seen or can remember seeing snow.  So after hearing that last years snow fall was a crazy amount and the schools were closed, they were super excited for this winter. (A lot more so than mummy, let me tell you!)  If there is one thing I have learned from moving here, although I do like it here, I DO NOT like cold weather!  I just cannot stay warm....but hey that's another story.  A few weeks back we did indeed get snow. This was the second time this year.  It was a very little but it pleased my children all the same!  They had fun in the snow till their fingers froze.  There was enough snow to make a snowman this time so they were happy. Roman turned 5

Roman turned another year older.  This means he will be going to school this year...NOOO...I'm not ready!  Thankfully I still have two more at home with me!  Here are a photos of the day. We started celebrations on Wednesday with his friends from Joy School at his Paw Patrol party!  We played games, everyone decorated a cake, played with the pinata and played with new presents! BIRTHDAY DAY!! Traditionally opening presents in mummy and daddys bed He LOVES golf Obligatory silly glasses And of course breakfast in bed! New 'comfy pants' from Nanna and Granddad! Silly faces!! We took him and his best friend bowling! They're so cheeky! Thanks for the awesome gift friend!  Chocolate cake, as requested! I know its plain, but it tasted yummy!
