Utah, Baby Blessing & Birthday Bashes!

I've only just realised that I've been so busy and it's been a while since I last posted.  I really don't know where the time has gone.  Roman is now almost 8 weeks old, Noah just turned 3 and we only have just under 2 months till we have to move from San Antonio.  Time is going way too quickly.

In April we went to Utah for a week to see Matthias' brother graduate from Law school.  It was fun to see all his family again, even if we were all sick.  Yes, that's right, the day we left Noah was throwing up on the plane.  Thankfully by the time we got to his sister Lina's house, Noah was feeling much better.  Unfortunately the next day Matthias was not so good, then that evening I fell ill and it was just all down hill from there.  Yes I think everybody in the family became ill...thanks to us! :S  However, we did still manage to have a good time.  We went to see Mathoni graduate, and even were able to go eat at Tucanos (one of my favourite restaurants!) despite our sickness.  We visited my grandparents, aunt and cousin who live in Salt Lake and shew Noah round the temple grounds.  It was a lovely and much needed break.

Last weekend, although busy, was a blast too. Noah has been going on about having a pirate party ever since he saw an episode of Backyardigans where they pretended they were pirates searching for treasure. "Arrgh!" has been he favourite new catch phrase! So being the great mother I am, I did a little pirate party for him. I even made t-shirts for my cute boys...check out the pictures....

On Sunday (Noah's birthday!) we had the baby blessing for Roman.  Our friend Nick and his two boys, came down to visit and be part of the party and blessing.  It was so great to have them come and Noah especially loved having Kai and Eli with him!

I was a little worried on the Sunday morning that the suit we were going to have Roman, the same one Noah wore for his blessing, wouldn't fit as Roman's growing so quickly and was 4 weeks older than Noah was when he was blessed.  But thankfully, although it was a little tighter than it was on Noah, it fit!  He looked so handsome. Unfortunately I couldn't get a photo of him smiling, which he does so often, but not this time.  Instead I got some of the funniest photos of a baby you will probably ever see.  My little boy has great facial expression already....what a stud! :)

My favourite ~ isn't his face priceless!

Can you smell what The Rock is cooking!

Well that is our life for the last month and a half in a nutshell.  Hopefully now that I've got in more of a routine with Roman and Noah I will be better a blogging again!!
