Spring Break

I cannot believe that spring break has been and gone!  It was done in the blink of an eye and now they've already had a week of school.  We tried to pack our 10 days with fun things to do, especially as we only have just over 3 months left here.  So here are some photos of our adventures.

Noah and Roman got to leave their hand prints in Mililani Town Center

On Wednesday we had a fun trip to the Zoo.  It was so hot, but still everyone enjoyed themselves.

Zara was really unimpressed with the big fish! lol

It was so hot this is all I wanted to do all day!!

On Thursday we decided to have a little bit of an easier day, so we went to watch Zootopia!  The boys loved it and in fact I really enjoyed it too.  I was a little worried that Zara would not sit and listen, but she surprised me and was great!

That evening was Noah's first soccer practice for the season.  Thankfully there is a park at the field too, so Roman and Zara were also able to have fun.

Not the best photos, but I circled Noah just in case!  The 2 coaches were actually from England.  They were doing soccer workshops here for a few months.  It was really funny to hear the English accent again!

Friday was 324th day!!  In other words a day with Daddies work at Bellows Beach!  This must be one of our favourite beaches, we love Bellows and we love 324th day.  The boys spent most of their time on the bouncy castle and then had fun in the afternoon on the beach and in the sea.  The whole day was super fun (and tiring!)

This is a clip of Matthias getting pie in the face!  All for a good cause!

Easter Saturday!  Do I need to say anymore??  We had a blast at the ward Easter Brunch and Easter Egg Hunt!  There was an awesome potluck brunch, followed by some games (which when Bishop announced this I admittedly thought they would be games for the children. Oops my mistake, it was for us, the adults, and oh my goodness was it fun!

Zara participated in her first Egg Hunt and just LOVED picking up all the eggs!  She's so cute!!

The boys were so anxious to get outside and find their eggs!!!

Cute Primary Children!

This is my favourite photo of the day!  Thanks Des!!

Although they may not look it, they really did have a great time!!
For our last day of school freedom we decided to go to the Bishop Museum.  The boys always have fun when they go there.  They particularly like the planetarium and volcano exhibits, which strangely enough I don't have any photos of, oh well.  We had friends join us which made it more fun.  Thanks for coming MynJoon, HaJin and Cat!

The boys wished that doughnuts were really this big!

Noah was excited to see a giant spider crab, he and Roman learned about them on Octonauts and have always wanted to see one!

Noah trying to camouflage in the back there!

Romans turn!

Now both of them!

The dress up station was too much fun!  But our day had come to an end!

It really was a super fun week.  I wish that every day could be as fun as spring break, but alas, there is always dishes, clothes washing, house cleaning and all the other errands of life that can't just be left!
