Noah turns 7!

With the impending birth of our 4th child, we had to move Noah's 7th birthday party to a week earlier.  Not that he minded one bit.  When I asked him what type of birthday party he wanted, he said he has always wanted a bowling party. Our boys love going bowling, especially when its comic bowl!  So I figured even though I would be 39 weeks pregnant, this was a do-able party.  I would just have his friends come, bowl and then eat cake.  Unfortunately it was a little more work then I expected, but still it was super fun and less stressful than doing a party at home.

Noah was blessed to have a dozen friends come and was given some lovely presents!  Here are a few pictures from his party.









We were lucky enough to get the cosmic bowl on for the kids, so we broke out the glow stick glasses, bracelets and necklaces too....they were a hit!!








I know I say it every birthday, but I honestly can not believe my little chunk monkey Noah, my first born, is getting so old.  He really brightens up our lives!  He is turning into a very smart, loving, enthusiastic, kind young man and we love him more and more each day!!  Happy birthday Noah!

Easter Fun

We really loved having a week off for Easter Break!  It was very much needed, for all of us.  I love having Noah at home.  He's such a great help and now that he's older, he's a real good buddy for me.  We have really great, grown up conversations, I love it.  We just really enjoyed family time, seeing old friends and eating lots of chocolate.  Isn't that what school breaks are all for?!  Here are a few photos of our fun. It kind of snowed.....twice

So my lovely little (or not so little) cutie pies were really excited to move here for one main reason...SNOW!  They had never seen or can remember seeing snow.  So after hearing that last years snow fall was a crazy amount and the schools were closed, they were super excited for this winter. (A lot more so than mummy, let me tell you!)  If there is one thing I have learned from moving here, although I do like it here, I DO NOT like cold weather!  I just cannot stay warm....but hey that's another story.  A few weeks back we did indeed get snow. This was the second time this year.  It was a very little but it pleased my children all the same!  They had fun in the snow till their fingers froze.  There was enough snow to make a snowman this time so they were happy. Noah's Baptism

It really is great to be 8!  Our handsome Noah has been looking forward to this day for over a year now.  In our church you are able to get baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at the age of 8. We believe that Baptism is an important first step to returning back to our Heavenly Father and to be able to eventually live together forever.  (For my non LDS friends you can read more about baptism and our religion here .)  We have been planning for a few weeks some of the things he wanted and he was super excited because both his grandparents were able to visit for his special day. He was baptized on his birthday by his daddy and the given the gift of the Holy Ghost by daddy too.  We had a small gathering, but enjoyed a yummy ice cream bar afterwards, Noah's request! :) We are so proud of him.  Noah is growing up to be a fine young man, he's caring, loving, intelligent, humble, crazy (the good kind :), there is never a dull mom...
