Summer is finally here....



So today is officially the first day of summer! Oh how we love summer. The thought conjures up laughter, sun, sea, sand, happy memories and just a great feeling of joy! I love the summer and for some reason I always find it so much easier to get up and do things. It gives me a new release of energy that just lasts and lasts. I love the light nights and the amazing sunsets it gives. BUT, yes there is a but, we are living in England, and yes as you might have guessed our first day of summer brings none other than RAIN!!!! :( Although we have had some good weather, today has not been a promising start for the good old British summer time. Well we can only live and hope for a great summer. I am just praying that we have great weather at the end of July, that's when YW camp is and I don't want to be camping in the rain again like last year - not fun! I vote that England be temporarily moved to the Bahamas for the summer, so that we get some good weather....all in favour?!

Easter Fun

We really loved having a week off for Easter Break!  It was very much needed, for all of us.  I love having Noah at home.  He's such a great help and now that he's older, he's a real good buddy for me.  We have really great, grown up conversations, I love it.  We just really enjoyed family time, seeing old friends and eating lots of chocolate.  Isn't that what school breaks are all for?!  Here are a few photos of our fun. It kind of snowed.....twice

So my lovely little (or not so little) cutie pies were really excited to move here for one main reason...SNOW!  They had never seen or can remember seeing snow.  So after hearing that last years snow fall was a crazy amount and the schools were closed, they were super excited for this winter. (A lot more so than mummy, let me tell you!)  If there is one thing I have learned from moving here, although I do like it here, I DO NOT like cold weather!  I just cannot stay warm....but hey that's another story.  A few weeks back we did indeed get snow. This was the second time this year.  It was a very little but it pleased my children all the same!  They had fun in the snow till their fingers froze.  There was enough snow to make a snowman this time so they were happy. Roman turned 5

Roman turned another year older.  This means he will be going to school this year...NOOO...I'm not ready!  Thankfully I still have two more at home with me!  Here are a photos of the day. We started celebrations on Wednesday with his friends from Joy School at his Paw Patrol party!  We played games, everyone decorated a cake, played with the pinata and played with new presents! BIRTHDAY DAY!! Traditionally opening presents in mummy and daddys bed He LOVES golf Obligatory silly glasses And of course breakfast in bed! New 'comfy pants' from Nanna and Granddad! Silly faces!!
