Like Mother, Like Son!

Since Matthias left in the New Year I have been taking one picture a day of Noah for him so that he doesn't miss out as much on him growing up! So anyway the other day I decided it would be fun to take pictures of both of us. So I got my very old camera out, set the timer on it, had 12 seconds to get in position and smile (hoping that Noah wouldn't move and would smile with me!) Well, normally Noah is great infront of the camera and smiles big, but this time it took at least 5 attempts to even get something remotely good. But in the process we got some 'classic' photos! Here is one of my favourites.




Anyway, there is one particular one which makes me laugh, even now. Ever since I was little I was always able to make funny expressions with my eyebrows, and it looks like Noah can do the same! lol



I know that everyone always tells me that Noah looks like his Daddy, but I can see a little of me in him too! lol Especially from these photos! xx

I can see both of you there too! It's just because he's a boy - if you'd had a girl, everyone would say she's just like you! People are always telling me Eleanor is just like her Mummy, when it's just not true. She is a proper Lanckmans! I love your straight hair by the way - it looks fabulous!

Easter Fun

We really loved having a week off for Easter Break!  It was very much needed, for all of us.  I love having Noah at home.  He's such a great help and now that he's older, he's a real good buddy for me.  We have really great, grown up conversations, I love it.  We just really enjoyed family time, seeing old friends and eating lots of chocolate.  Isn't that what school breaks are all for?!  Here are a few photos of our fun. It kind of snowed.....twice

So my lovely little (or not so little) cutie pies were really excited to move here for one main reason...SNOW!  They had never seen or can remember seeing snow.  So after hearing that last years snow fall was a crazy amount and the schools were closed, they were super excited for this winter. (A lot more so than mummy, let me tell you!)  If there is one thing I have learned from moving here, although I do like it here, I DO NOT like cold weather!  I just cannot stay warm....but hey that's another story.  A few weeks back we did indeed get snow. This was the second time this year.  It was a very little but it pleased my children all the same!  They had fun in the snow till their fingers froze.  There was enough snow to make a snowman this time so they were happy. Roman turned 5

Roman turned another year older.  This means he will be going to school this year...NOOO...I'm not ready!  Thankfully I still have two more at home with me!  Here are a photos of the day. We started celebrations on Wednesday with his friends from Joy School at his Paw Patrol party!  We played games, everyone decorated a cake, played with the pinata and played with new presents! BIRTHDAY DAY!! Traditionally opening presents in mummy and daddys bed He LOVES golf Obligatory silly glasses And of course breakfast in bed! New 'comfy pants' from Nanna and Granddad! Silly faces!! We took him and his best friend bowling! They're so cheeky! Thanks for the awesome gift friend!  Chocolate cake, as requested! I know its plain, but it tasted yummy!
