"You sound like a London teacher!"

So today at church I was asked to substitute for singing time in Primary! Of course I said yes as I love Primary! I got to teach the children He Sent His Son ~ one of my favourite Primary songs! Everything was going really well, although I was a little nervous, silly I know, but for some reason I feel more comfortable teaching 12+, even adults then Primary children. I think it's probably because I have to really get the children's attention and I don't want them to think I'm boring, because knowing kids one of them might even tell me! lol But, our Primary (even though there are LOADS of kids ~ I think they make up half of our ward!) were great, they sang really well and answered all of the questions. I loved it!! So anyway, once I had finished Senior Primary I was taking down my visual aids when one of the boys said: "You sound like a London teacher!" It just made me laugh so much, I did reply and tell him I was in fact from England and he then said to his friends "See I told you; she is a London teacher!" I thought it was so cute, I had to share my fun experience in Primary. Don't you just find working with children so rewarding and fun! I do! :)

Ahh, Elodie! You are just like your mum! She is amazing in primary as well. I learned so much from her! The kids were so lucky to have you with them Sunday!
