Music is good for the soul!


For the almost 2 1/2 years Matthias and I have been married I have not had a piano to play. This has really made me sad as I find playing the piano relaxing and it brings a nice feeling into the home. However, we did agree that we wouldn't buy anything while we lived in England as we didn't want it damaged in the move to the States. BUT now we are here, the blessed day came yesterday. I had got a steel for a brand new digital piano (its no big make!) but it plays and sounds beautiful. Since it arrived yesterday I haven't stopped playing it. (Well almost ~ I have actually slept, ate and took care of Noah!) He loves it too. I feel I have a little Mozart in the making, as he already loves playing on the keys ~ when he's old enough I will definitely be teaching him!

I love music!! It brightens my soul :)

Did you cry when it arrived? I cried when we got a piano after living without one for almost 2 years. Ben loves playing it too - he's not too great at sharing with me yet and Eleanor just loves to hear me play. I plan on teaching my babies too. I love my piano!!

Easter Fun

We really loved having a week off for Easter Break!  It was very much needed, for all of us.  I love having Noah at home.  He's such a great help and now that he's older, he's a real good buddy for me.  We have really great, grown up conversations, I love it.  We just really enjoyed family time, seeing old friends and eating lots of chocolate.  Isn't that what school breaks are all for?!  Here are a few photos of our fun. It kind of snowed.....twice

So my lovely little (or not so little) cutie pies were really excited to move here for one main reason...SNOW!  They had never seen or can remember seeing snow.  So after hearing that last years snow fall was a crazy amount and the schools were closed, they were super excited for this winter. (A lot more so than mummy, let me tell you!)  If there is one thing I have learned from moving here, although I do like it here, I DO NOT like cold weather!  I just cannot stay warm....but hey that's another story.  A few weeks back we did indeed get snow. This was the second time this year.  It was a very little but it pleased my children all the same!  They had fun in the snow till their fingers froze.  There was enough snow to make a snowman this time so they were happy. Roman turned 5

Roman turned another year older.  This means he will be going to school this year...NOOO...I'm not ready!  Thankfully I still have two more at home with me!  Here are a photos of the day. We started celebrations on Wednesday with his friends from Joy School at his Paw Patrol party!  We played games, everyone decorated a cake, played with the pinata and played with new presents!
