November is my favourite month...

For two reasons: one its the month Matthias and I were married and sealed in the Temple for all time and eternity and two its my birthday.  Or though the latter is starting to get less exciting as I become older!  Anyways, Matthias and I just celebrated 3 wonderful years of marriage.  And even though we are apart right now, my cute husband sent me a beautiful bouquet of Peruvian Lilies and other lovely gifts to remind me of him.  He is the best thing in my life and I can't wait to be with him again!!


Even though November is my favourite month (with December a close second ~ I can't wait for Christmas!) at the beginning of the week this month was not looking too great.  Noah and I got food poisoning.  Yes, we were painfully sick and I had very bad stomach cramps.  We are slowly getting over it, but its really annoying as we still haven't got our appetite back properly and can't enjoy our food like we normally do.  But what can you do?  I don't actually know the complete cause of it, I just know that I am now put off spaghetti, well for at least a few weeks....which is a shame because it is a favourite in our house! But as I said we're on the mend.

This month still holds great fun in the McCormick household and I can't wait to share them with you on here. That is if I remember to actually update this blog as my Project:365 blog has been taking over lately!  I will try my best! Till next time, ciao for now!

Easter Fun

We really loved having a week off for Easter Break!  It was very much needed, for all of us.  I love having Noah at home.  He's such a great help and now that he's older, he's a real good buddy for me.  We have really great, grown up conversations, I love it.  We just really enjoyed family time, seeing old friends and eating lots of chocolate.  Isn't that what school breaks are all for?!  Here are a few photos of our fun. It kind of snowed.....twice

So my lovely little (or not so little) cutie pies were really excited to move here for one main reason...SNOW!  They had never seen or can remember seeing snow.  So after hearing that last years snow fall was a crazy amount and the schools were closed, they were super excited for this winter. (A lot more so than mummy, let me tell you!)  If there is one thing I have learned from moving here, although I do like it here, I DO NOT like cold weather!  I just cannot stay warm....but hey that's another story.  A few weeks back we did indeed get snow. This was the second time this year.  It was a very little but it pleased my children all the same!  They had fun in the snow till their fingers froze.  There was enough snow to make a snowman this time so they were happy. Noah's Baptism

It really is great to be 8!  Our handsome Noah has been looking forward to this day for over a year now.  In our church you are able to get baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at the age of 8. We believe that Baptism is an important first step to returning back to our Heavenly Father and to be able to eventually live together forever.  (For my non LDS friends you can read more about baptism and our religion here .)  We have been planning for a few weeks some of the things he wanted and he was super excited because both his grandparents were able to visit for his special day. He was baptized on his birthday by his daddy and the given the gift of the Holy Ghost by daddy too.  We had a small gathering, but enjoyed a yummy ice cream bar afterwards, Noah's request! :) We are so proud of him.  Noah is growing up to be a fine young man, he's caring, loving, intelligent, humble, crazy (the good kind :), there is never a dull mom...
