Long Weekend in Florida
Since we are here in Montgomery, Alabama and we had a long weekend, we decided to take advantage of it and go to Florida for a few days! The weather had got a little warmer ~ well it wasn't below freezing anymore, and so we set off Saturday morning. The trip was pretty uneventful, Noah slept most of the way, and was again extremely good for the rest of the drive. It took about 3 hours to get there and I am pleased to say we didn't even get lost, thanks to my fabulous navigation skills! :)
Since it was the afternoon when we arrived in Fort Walton, we decided to just go out get food take a look around and go to the cinema. We went and saw Chronicles of Narnia ~ The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. I absolutely loved it and thought it was rather funny too.
As the next day was Sunday, we went to church and then decided to go for a family walk. We walked to Hurlbert Field beach and saw the sunset. It was bea-utiful! I was able to get some great photos too.
On Monday we took a trip to Pensacola and visited the National Museum of Naval Aviation. It was really fun. Noah loved seeing all the aeroplanes and getting to have his photo in the cockpit of a plane. He enjoyed it so much that he slept nearly all the way home.
Here are some pictures of our trip. I hope you enjoy them ~ ciao for now.
