I like to move it, move it!

Ever since Noah realised what the television was he's loved watching things like Mickey Mouse clubhouse, Chuggington and other kiddies shows. Another favourite of Noah's, although it's not a short cartoon , is Madagascar! I don't know whether he likes it because the characters are painted on his wall or if its just because of the bright colours and good music. (It's probably a bit of both!) Anyway, the other day, as we were indoors, not knowing what to do (as Matthias has just had PRK eye surgery and was recovering ~ everything went really well! His eyes aren't perfect yet, but that's normal.) we decided to play Madagascar as we hadn't watched it for a while. Noah sat as good as gold on his monkey bean bag chair all the way through it till the very end when the music for the credits came on. And this is what he did:

What a cutie, right!? I know I'm his mum of course I'm going to say that, but it was just so adorable to watch him dance around, that we played it again and recorded it. He danced for about 20 minutes solid till he was just too tired.

On other news as I mentioned above, yes Matthias got PRK (PhotoRefractive Keratectomy) eye surgery last Thursday. We weren't allowed to have Noah with us in the waiting room, so we dropped him off at a friends and took Matthias in at 6.30am. He had to have a few more tests and checks before he had the procedure, but thankfully he was the first one in for his PRK and out 10 minutes later!! Yes it really was that quick. In fact the whole surgery procedure doesn't take any longer that 3-5 minutes for each eye ~ crazy hey.

He is healing really well. His eyes were sensitive to light for a few days and he has got the 'halo' effect going on, but apart from that his eyes seem to be on the mend. As I said his eyesight won't be perfect for a few months as yet, but its a lot better than it was. Maybe I should get it done....?

Not much new is happening with me...I did however start giving piano lessons to a girl from our church. Yes me a piano teacher, can you believe it?! :) But I'm really enjoying it, I think I would consider doing it on a more permanent basis, for beginners? Who knows, its something to think about, along with me becoming a Photographer, right?!

Well as the title of this post says...I better move it, move it. There is a lot to do today and just not enough hours in the day to do it!! (One of those things being, buying Harry Potter on DVD ~ YAY!! I've been pretty excited about it all week, I know, I know! :) So ciao for now my avid readers, I will post again soon!
