McCormick Update....
Where to begin? The last few weeks have been pretty busy in the McCormick household. Matthias was called to be Cubmaster in our ward about a month and a half ago and just after being called he had the Pinewood Derby. Now, this was something completely new to me, because the cub scout/scouting thing isn't done within the church in the UK, so I had no idea what the Pinewood Derby was. Boy, was it a fun night though. The boys made some fantastic cars and it was an all-round fun evening.
Thank you again for everyone who came to Noah's party and gave him all his lovely gifts. (If you want to see all the pictures from Noah's party, check out my Facebook photos!)
Talking of gifts, I have to let everyone know how wonderful my son and husband are. Between them both I had a perfect Mother's Day. They treated me like a Queen....I don't think that I can say much more. I was treated to a beautiful bouquet of flowers, chocolates, and other lovely gifts. However, my favourite had to be my lovely poem (picture below) my men really are the best in the world. How grateful I am for a wonderful husband and son, who I love so very much! :) xx
Our little Noah is now officially 2 years old!!! I can't believe where the time has gone. I know everyone says it but honestly you blink and the next thing you know...bless him, we have been preparing for his Mickey Mouse Birthday party for the past 2 months. (For those of you who know me, you will know that I'm a perfectionist and everything would have to be spot on, hence the 2 month party planning!)
Anyway, Noah was treated like a King,...has amazing family and friends who celebrated with us and gave Noah some wonderful presents, of which we are all grateful. I'm not completely sure that Noah understood all that was going on at his party or on his birthday at that, but our boy sure knows how to have the best time. He enjoyed every minute of the games, we played pass the parcel (an English game!), pin the nose on Mickey, find Toodles and we had a piñata and bubble machine. And of course what would a party be with out food and the all important cake!! :)
