A lonely week

So Matthias has been out of town this whole week and won't be coming back till Thursday of next.  The house has been really quiet, not to say that Noah hasn't made any noise, it's just when they both get together.....yeah!  So really I haven't done much exciting to blog about.  On Monday I did make some burp cloths for baby...but I will blog about that on my thingsidobyelle blog later today.  I think most of my time has been consumed with getting things ready for the Blue & Gold cub scout banquet on Tuesday and sorting my car out.  All fun things to blog about I know (that's why I haven't!).

I've decided cooking for 1 and a toddler isn't any fun.  I don't know how I did it for a whole year, but I guess I had a little bit more motivation and wasn't feeling to tired and fat all the time. Don't get me wrong I do like pregnancy, but the last 3 and a bit weeks are going to be a killer.  I'm so ready to have this baby, but if he's anything like his big brother he'll be a week late and I will just be going crazy with anticipation. :)  Well, that's enough of the rambling of a 9 month pregnant woman.  I'm sure I will have more exciting things to put on here next week.  Till then my loyal readers, have a great week!

Easter Fun

We really loved having a week off for Easter Break!  It was very much needed, for all of us.  I love having Noah at home.  He's such a great help and now that he's older, he's a real good buddy for me.  We have really great, grown up conversations, I love it.  We just really enjoyed family time, seeing old friends and eating lots of chocolate.  Isn't that what school breaks are all for?!  Here are a few photos of our fun. It kind of snowed.....twice

So my lovely little (or not so little) cutie pies were really excited to move here for one main reason...SNOW!  They had never seen or can remember seeing snow.  So after hearing that last years snow fall was a crazy amount and the schools were closed, they were super excited for this winter. (A lot more so than mummy, let me tell you!)  If there is one thing I have learned from moving here, although I do like it here, I DO NOT like cold weather!  I just cannot stay warm....but hey that's another story.  A few weeks back we did indeed get snow. This was the second time this year.  It was a very little but it pleased my children all the same!  They had fun in the snow till their fingers froze.  There was enough snow to make a snowman this time so they were happy. Roman turned 5

Roman turned another year older.  This means he will be going to school this year...NOOO...I'm not ready!  Thankfully I still have two more at home with me!  Here are a photos of the day. We started celebrations on Wednesday with his friends from Joy School at his Paw Patrol party!  We played games, everyone decorated a cake, played with the pinata and played with new presents!
