Nursery
I have been very busy lately turning our guest bedroom into a nursery for our little girl. I didn't realize how many things we had actually stored in that room! So sorting through it wasn't as easy of a task as I first thought. Thankfully we have a garage that has managed to fit everything in it.
I had been trying to find a picture of how the bedroom looked before, but alas I cannot find one. It's not that big of a deal but still the transformation is pretty cool to see. Anyway, I tried to go for simple and clean but with lacey girly accents. There are still a few little things that I need to do, like put photographs in the frames (plus a few more pieces of artwork wouldn't hurt!) Get Matthias to move out our very old and heavy German TV in the corner. (It's not photographed, I made sure of that!) and finish the baby mobile I've been working on, its super cute and can't wait to share the finished product with you.
Anyway, so here is the (almost) finished product!
I will take a photo of it on the car seat when Matthias has got it down from the loft!
What with me playing 'Changing Rooms' these past few weeks and then the primary presentation coming up this Sunday, I have been one busy lady! Just the way I like it. :) I have been able to make some cute things for the children this Sunday too, but I will post about that next week!
For those who are interested, I am now 31 weeks and 2 days. Which in month terms is 8 months. I can't believe how the time flies. I will soon be holding my baby girl in my arms ~ 8 1/2 weeks, but who is counting? ;)

This is the bear Noah and Roman had when they were born. I thought I would keep the tradition going! |
I have been super picky about the crib bumpers and bedding, so I ended up making it myself. I couldn't believe how easy it actually was! Why I didn't do it for my boys I don't know. It actually was a lot cheaper making it myself too....so if you are thinking about it, do it! Honestly the easiest and most fun thing I've made in a long time.
While on the subject of making things; yes I was in a sewing marathon mood the past two weeks, I made a car seat canopy too. I thought why not. Plus I think I have enough material for a diaper sack too, people who know me, know everything has to match! :)
