Fall Break

Although Noah has been enjoying school he has been so excited to have fall break!  Even though it was only for one week, I was excited too.  It meant I didn't have to get up at 6.30am and I could maybe have a lay in.  Okay in reality it didn't happen till Matthias was off on Monday for Columbus Day. But still not having to rush out the door at 7.30am and then make sure Roman had taken a nap before 2pm has its restrictions that I was very grateful not to have this past week.

I tired to plan a few fun things for the boys to do, but as always the general run of the mill things also had to be done, like food shopping, washing, cleaning the house, not to mention I had an OB appointment and a church meeting during the day.  But my boys were awesome, they took it all in their stride and just enjoyed being able to do what they wanted.

One of the highlights of our week was going to the beach with our friends and seeing these beauties!

Yes this is just another casual day in Hawaii!  Noah and Roman just loved seeing them.  When Noah finally spotted them, they had been on the beach for a few minutes, he was so excited, he even asked, "Mummy, can I ride it!?"  I obviously told him no! :)  My funny boy.

We did also manage to have a fun filled Monday with Matthias and went on another trip to Wet n Wild; this is possibly the boys favourite place.  Noah is getting really confident with his swimming abilities and actually loves going under the water now!  He has been so apprehensive and all of a sudden its just clicked and he loves swimming and diving.

Wave pool fun!

Isn't he adorable!

I can't believe how quickly the week was over.  I miss my little Noah being with us everyday and let me tell you the house is very quiet without him.  I don't actually know Roman is with me!  So it was nice to have him this past week.  I can definitely say I'm a parent that LOVES having her children at home. Roll on Thanksgiving break! :)
