"D" Day??

Yes, today I am officially 40 weeks!  I don't know if I will still deliver today/tonight or not?  My NP has been so lovely, she has been the best NP I've seen.  We are all hoping that something still happens; me being dilated 4cm and all, but who knows, this little girl is just too comfy and may just want to taste some yummy thanksgiving turkey before making an appearance!  Either way, as long as things go smoothly and are uncomplicated, I am trying to will be patient!

I'm not good at selfies!  I should have got a few pointers from Noah!  But yes my bump does look like a basketball! :)

So I have been meaning to blog for a while to let you know what I've been up to.  I have been very blessed to have some lovely friends who gave me a baby shower a few weeks ago.  There are actually 3 of us gals who are due within the next month, so we had a big baby shower for us all.  It was super fun and I couldn't believe how generous and kind all the ladies were!

I forgot to get a photo when all the lovely food was on the table!

I had my birthday 10 days ago and was able to have a very rare date night with my lovely husband!  (Thanks Jenn & Zui!!)  We went to get food and we went on a romantic walk, although I have to admit, being as pregnant as I was I couldn't do too much walking before I was tired and wanted to go home! lol I know, it's a hard life! :)  During the day we went to the cinema to see Big Hero 6 and I have to say I loved it!  It's a definite must see if you haven't already!


Oh how could I forget we had Noah's first teacher/parent conference; and I have to say I was so proud of Noah.  He really is doing well in school.  He's our little smarty pants!  His teacher is having to give him extra work to keep his mind busy and he is already reading at 1st grade level ~ sorry; proud parent moment over.  I'm so glad though that he is doing well....love that boy!

So that's what we've been doing in a nutshell.  Church and work are also still keeping us busy so....maybe having this baby will be a welcomed little break for a week or two! :)  I will keep you all posted.  Till then, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Easter Fun

We really loved having a week off for Easter Break!  It was very much needed, for all of us.  I love having Noah at home.  He's such a great help and now that he's older, he's a real good buddy for me.  We have really great, grown up conversations, I love it.  We just really enjoyed family time, seeing old friends and eating lots of chocolate.  Isn't that what school breaks are all for?!  Here are a few photos of our fun. It kind of snowed.....twice

So my lovely little (or not so little) cutie pies were really excited to move here for one main reason...SNOW!  They had never seen or can remember seeing snow.  So after hearing that last years snow fall was a crazy amount and the schools were closed, they were super excited for this winter. (A lot more so than mummy, let me tell you!)  If there is one thing I have learned from moving here, although I do like it here, I DO NOT like cold weather!  I just cannot stay warm....but hey that's another story.  A few weeks back we did indeed get snow. This was the second time this year.  It was a very little but it pleased my children all the same!  They had fun in the snow till their fingers froze.  There was enough snow to make a snowman this time so they were happy. Roman turned 5

Roman turned another year older.  This means he will be going to school this year...NOOO...I'm not ready!  Thankfully I still have two more at home with me!  Here are a photos of the day. We started celebrations on Wednesday with his friends from Joy School at his Paw Patrol party!  We played games, everyone decorated a cake, played with the pinata and played with new presents! BIRTHDAY DAY!! Traditionally opening presents in mummy and daddys bed He LOVES golf Obligatory silly glasses And of course breakfast in bed! New 'comfy pants' from Nanna and Granddad! Silly faces!!
