Photoshoots

A few months ago a friend from our church agreed to take our family photographs at the picturesque beach Ko Olina. I don't know if she knew how much of a challenge it would be.  To be fair I don't think any of us knew what a challenge it would be.  I know that when I take my boys photos they can't keep still, but I guess the lesson we learnt that day was, they really just can't keep still for anyone with a camera!  To make matters worse, I thought it would be fun to have sunset pictures. Suffice to say young TIRED boys with wanting to play in the sand, jump in the water and us parents trying to keep them still, whilst smiling was an almost impossible task!  I don't know how Jolena did it but she managed to get some great photos!!  Even where we are all smiling!  She had the patience of a saints and did an awesome job!  Check out some of her photos.

These are the faces that turned up on most of the photos!!

My boys really have the best faces!  If nothing else we got really fun photos that I will very much enjoy sharing with future girlfriends! :)

Now that we did finally have an up to date family photo, I thought I best get up to date single photos of my children.  I know I did them at Christmas, but I needed to do them again...so here are some of the outtakes and then the actual one I like. (Yes, one!  That's all I got out of 30 odd photos! lol)

And of course the beautiful photos of our little Zara

Family photos aren't always the easiest, BUT they sure are worth it in the end!!
