The Last 2 Months

Oh my goodness, I've been really bad at blogging these past 2 months.  Truth is I didn't realise it was that long ago that I last posted.  Life just got busy with life.  So let me just bring you all up to speed on the fun and interesting pieces.

ZARA
Zara grew fangs!  All 4 of her top teeth are through now! She has 6 in total.

Her favourite thing to do is look at the DVDs or just pull them all out!

She also LOVES to dance

She walks around all the furniture, so I'm guessing walking unassisted won't be too far away!

She loves to eat finger foods.

She is now 10 months and growing!!

I can't actually believe she will be 1 next month.


ROMAN
He's my crazy boy.  Very rarely do I get a normal face.

He's a monkey!  Honestly, I have to stop him after his 3rd banana for the day.  He just loves them!

He loves to paint pictures. Whenever asked what he would like to do he always answers painting!

He loves playing outside, especially on his new bike.

His favourite song is Jesus Wants me for a Sunbeam (which he loving calls Jesus Christ for a Sunbeam).

He is a great help with Zara and loves her to pieces!

Did I mention how he loves to gel and style his own hair!  This isn't his best style and one of his first attempts, but he has definitely got better at it!  I think he even got his eyebrows in this picture! lol Bless him!


NOAH





This handsome 1st grader achieved the Academic Progress Award for the 1st quarter of school this year.  We are all so proud of him.  He really is a smart boy and learning so much.  He has tried extra hard this year and his persistence and hard work paid off.  Keep up the good work Noah.

He too is a great big brother to both Roman and Zara.

Noah's Baptism

It really is great to be 8!  Our handsome Noah has been looking forward to this day for over a year now.  In our church you are able to get baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at the age of 8. We believe that Baptism is an important first step to returning back to our Heavenly Father and to be able to eventually live together forever.  (For my non LDS friends you can read more about baptism and our religion here .)  We have been planning for a few weeks some of the things he wanted and he was super excited because both his grandparents were able to visit for his special day. He was baptized on his birthday by his daddy and the given the gift of the Holy Ghost by daddy too.  We had a small gathering, but enjoyed a yummy ice cream bar afterwards, Noah's request! :) We are so proud of him.  Noah is growing up to be a fine young man, he's caring, loving, intelligent, humble, crazy (the good kind :), there is never a dull moment with him around,

It kind of snowed.....twice

So my lovely little (or not so little) cutie pies were really excited to move here for one main reason...SNOW!  They had never seen or can remember seeing snow.  So after hearing that last years snow fall was a crazy amount and the schools were closed, they were super excited for this winter. (A lot more so than mummy, let me tell you!)  If there is one thing I have learned from moving here, although I do like it here, I DO NOT like cold weather!  I just cannot stay warm....but hey that's another story.  A few weeks back we did indeed get snow. This was the second time this year.  It was a very little but it pleased my children all the same!  They had fun in the snow till their fingers froze.  There was enough snow to make a snowman this time so they were happy. 2 Months

I know that Mateo will be 3 months in a few days, but I haven't caught up with his 2 months as yet, so I will post that now! At 2 months, he took his first airplane ride from Hawaii to Washington (state).  He is a brilliant flyer.  He slept the whole flight!  I even had to wake him to feed just before we landed. He is loved by all his siblings so much and mummy and daddy too, of course.  I often here Zara saying "I want Teo!" repeatedly till she gets him on her lap.  The she proceeds to sing to him and kiss him continually.  It's so cute!  Although I fear he will always have 2 mothers growing up :)  Noah and Roman love their cuddle times with him too.  Noah is such a great big helper with Mateo.  I know that they are all going to be great friends as they are growing up! Mateo loves to smile at everyone and he has the biggest most beautiful smile!       Mateo loves to eat. At 7 weeks he weighed 13lbs 4oz!  Who knows what he will weigh in
