England for Christmas!

I had been so looking forward to going back home, especially for Christmas.  It had almost been 3 years since I'd been back to the motherland and I have to say, I really missed it.  I was looking forward to seeing my family and spending a lovely cold, quiet Christmas with them!

Here are some highlights of our time there:



I know that there are a lot of photos from Warner Brother's Harry Potter Studios....but I have to tell you, it was absolutely brilliant!!  We all LOVED it so much.  It was worth every penny!

We were able to have our photos taken in the flying car and the boys enjoyed a broomstick ride which we got the videos for.  It was all so brilliant.  I've attached the photos at least and will try and get the videos downloaded soon...so stay tuned!




I know that this trip we didn't get to see many friends or extended family, for which we are truly sorry, but we promise next time we are "home" we will make special arrangements to see you all, because we really do truly miss our English friends!!  We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Years and that 2016 brings health, happiness and great memories!!

Noah's Baptism

It really is great to be 8!  Our handsome Noah has been looking forward to this day for over a year now.  In our church you are able to get baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at the age of 8. We believe that Baptism is an important first step to returning back to our Heavenly Father and to be able to eventually live together forever.  (For my non LDS friends you can read more about baptism and our religion here .)  We have been planning for a few weeks some of the things he wanted and he was super excited because both his grandparents were able to visit for his special day. He was baptized on his birthday by his daddy and the given the gift of the Holy Ghost by daddy too.  We had a small gathering, but enjoyed a yummy ice cream bar afterwards, Noah's request! :) We are so proud of him.  Noah is growing up to be a fine young man, he's caring, loving, intelligent, humble, crazy (the good kind :), there is never a dull moment with him around,

It kind of snowed.....twice

So my lovely little (or not so little) cutie pies were really excited to move here for one main reason...SNOW!  They had never seen or can remember seeing snow.  So after hearing that last years snow fall was a crazy amount and the schools were closed, they were super excited for this winter. (A lot more so than mummy, let me tell you!)  If there is one thing I have learned from moving here, although I do like it here, I DO NOT like cold weather!  I just cannot stay warm....but hey that's another story.  A few weeks back we did indeed get snow. This was the second time this year.  It was a very little but it pleased my children all the same!  They had fun in the snow till their fingers froze.  There was enough snow to make a snowman this time so they were happy. 2 Months

I know that Mateo will be 3 months in a few days, but I haven't caught up with his 2 months as yet, so I will post that now! At 2 months, he took his first airplane ride from Hawaii to Washington (state).  He is a brilliant flyer.  He slept the whole flight!  I even had to wake him to feed just before we landed. He is loved by all his siblings so much and mummy and daddy too, of course.  I often here Zara saying "I want Teo!" repeatedly till she gets him on her lap.  The she proceeds to sing to him and kiss him continually.  It's so cute!  Although I fear he will always have 2 mothers growing up :)  Noah and Roman love their cuddle times with him too.  Noah is such a great big helper with Mateo.  I know that they are all going to be great friends as they are growing up! Mateo loves to smile at everyone and he has the biggest most beautiful smile!       Mateo loves to eat. At 7 weeks he weighed 13lbs 4oz!  Who knows what he will weigh in
